The Archbishop is permitting weekend Mass to resume on Saturday, May 16 and Sunday, May 17. Attendance is limited to 25% of the seating capacity—which for St. Mark is about 30 people. Because of this limited number, you must make a reservation to attend either the 5:30 pm Saturday Vigil Mass (May 16) or the 9:30 am Sunday Mass (May 17). To sign up for weekend Mass, call the parish office (504-431-8505) between 12:00 noon and 3:00 pm on Monday-Friday. Mass reservations cannot be made by voice mail, you must speak to Rosary in person. Please see the previous post on our website and Facebook for the restrictions that will apply, especially wearing a mask.
THE CHURCH WILL NOT OPEN UNTIL 15 MINUTES BEFORE MASS BEGINS.
BEGINNING ON MONDAY, MAY 18^TH FR. ED WILL CELEBRATE WEEKDAY MASS AT 8:00 am ON MONDAY, TUESDAY, WEDNESDAY, FRIDAY & SATURDAY. Because the usual number of attendees is under 30, reservations are not needed for weekday Mass. However, a mask must be worn, and social distancing must be maintained in seating.
The Adoration Chapel will re-open at 9:00 am on Monday, May 18^th.
 

1.  Because 25% of our church is about 30 people, you will have to make a reservation to attend a specific weekend Mass. Reservations can be made by calling the parish office between 12 noon and 3:00 pm on Monday through Friday and speaking to Rosary in person.Reservations cannot be made by leaving a message on voice mail.
2. For your safety and the safety of others, all parishioners attending Mass MUST WEAR A MASK. (You may lift it to receive Holy Communion.)
3. Communion will be given in the hand only; the Precious Blood will not be given.
4. For your safety, the song books and missalettes have been removed from the pews and the pews will be cleaned after each Mass.
5. You will be asked to keep social distancing when entering and leaving the church, also when forming a line to receive holy communion.
6. You will not be able to choose where you sit. We have worked out a pattern of seating to keep social distancing. As you enter the church, you will be shown to the next available seat. Couples/Families living in the same household may sit together.
7. Hand sanitizer and disinfectant wipes are available in the back of church.
8. No collection will be taken during Mass, there are collection boxes in the back of church for your offerings.

Remember that the Archbishop has dispensed the obligation to attend Mass for the time being. You are under no obligation to come to church if you think that it is not safe for you to do so. Also, please do not come if you are not feeling well. I pray this crisis will be over soon, and I look forward to seeing you at Mass.
